Accelerated Security Update: PHP Vulnerability Patches for LineLeader

Written by Teddy Hook | Oct 21, 2026, 6:25:41 PM

On October 20, a set of critical security vulnerabilities in PHP, the open-source programming language used across much of the software industry, was disclosed publicly ahead of the planned patch release. Because these flaws could allow remote code execution, the industry is treating this as an urgent, time-sensitive issue.

What this means for you

LineLeader Enroll and Forms run on PHP. We are deploying the vendor security patches now, on an accelerated timeline, rather than waiting for our standard release cycle. Waiting would leave your data and your families' information exposed for longer than we are willing to accept.

What we're doing

  • Releasing the urgent, high-priority security fixes today, 10/21/26, with additional fixes rolling out through the rest of the week.

  • Running focused validation on the highest-impact workflows: lead capture, tours, communications, and forms.

  • Monitoring the platform closely during and after each release, with a rollback plan ready.

  • LineLeader Manage, Engage, and payment processing run on separate technology and are not affected by this PHP issue.

What to expect

We expect little to no disruption. Should you notice an issue in Enroll or Forms over the next several days as these fixes roll out, please tell us right away. We have a dedicated team watching for this and prioritizing fixes immediately.

How to reach us

  • Report anything unusual: support@lineleader.com

  • Include your organization name, the location affected, and a short description or screenshot.

No action is needed from you. We have not identified any signs of unauthorized access to customer data. We'll keep you informed of any change to that.

Thank you for your partnership. Keeping your platform secure is our priority.
