CRM FAQ: What You Need to Know about ChildcareCRM Migration

We're so excited to announce the release of CRM+, the new version of ChildcareCRM! We’ve created this FAQ with details about switching from your current CRM software to CRM+.

Q: What is CRM+?

A: CRM+ is the newest version of ChildcareCRM. It’s easier to use, and filled with new features to help you boost enrollment and save time including:

  • New, easy-to-use interface and navigation

  • New home screen dashboards

  • Custom reporting capabilities

  • Partner marketplace for easy integrations

  • New template editor

     

Q: Where can I get more information about CRM+? 

A: We have several places you can visit to get more information:

  • Live Webinar: Join our CRM+ What’s New Webinar on Monday, June 28 at 5 pm CST (Tuesday, June 29 at 8 am Australian EST). We’ll compare the current version of CRM to the new CRM+ version, review CRM+ new features, and let you know how to make the switch to CRM+. Click here to register. 

Q: Is there an additional cost for CRM+? 

A: CRM+ is provided at no additional cost to existing legacy CRM customers. 

Q: When can I switch from the current version of CRM to CRM+? 
  • Childcare organizations with 1-10 locations: You can switch as soon as July. Let us know you’re interested in making the switch, by filling out this form. 

  • Childcare organizations with 10+ locations: We know you'll want to plan your switch to CRM+ to ensure center staff are trained and the switch is seamless. We’ll contact you to create a transition plan along with the best timing to make the switch. In the meantime, prepare your teams for CRM+ by having them join our upcoming webinar, sharing this FAQ, and follow our Facebook Communities of Practice Group for updates.

  • Childcare organizations currently using our Enrollment Teams feature: Organizations using our Enrollment Teams feature can switch to CRM+ in Q4 2021. Please contact your Customer Success Advisor to discuss moving to CRM+. 

 Q: How long will it take to switch to CRM+? 
  • Childcare organizations with 1-10 locations: It will take approximately one week to switch to CRM+. This includes 2-hours of training and moving to a new CRM+ URL where all of your current family data, business rule settings, and templates will be available. 

  • Childcare organizations with 10+ locations: We’ll work with each of you on the timeframe for switching to CRM+. 

Q: Will there be training for CRM+?  

A: Absolutely! You will receive two hours of CRM+ training. This training will also be recorded and available on-demand.

 Q: What about all my family data and templates in ChildcareCRM? Will it transfer over to CRM+ or do I have to start from scratch?  

A: Not to worry. All of your family data and templates will be transferred over to CRM+. 

 Q: I use Business Rules, will those continue to work as usual for me if I switch over?  

A: Yes. When you switch over to CRM+, your Business Rules settings will automatically switch as well.  

Q: If I choose to switch to CRM+ will I still have access to my current ChildcareCRM software? 

A: Yes, while transitioning to CRM+ you will have access to your current version of ChildcareCRM for two (2) weeks. 

Q: I see some terms in CRM+ that I’m not familiar with.  

A: To streamline CRM+, we’ve made updates to some of the verbiage. Here’s a quick reference guide:
