Childcare Technology Industry: 11 Influential Women

Written by Sierra Rossing | Mar 23, 2021 12:00:00 PM

In honor of Women’s History Month (March) and International Women’s Day (March 8th) , we are highlighting some of the many women who are impacting the childcare and early education space through their roles in technology and software design, implementation, and/or management.

Historically, the technology industry has been male-dominated. However, in recent years, we have seen a growing number of women join the field as universities and educational institutions have begun prioritizing STEM opportunities for female students. In contrast, early education and childcare is a widely female-dominated field. This collaboration between childcare and technology has allowed for a unique blend of both men and women leading the charge towards a modern, collaborative approach to early education and care.
